The medicinal materials are long or flat silicate minerals of different sizes, all of which are milky white, bluish white to bluish gray, or longitudinal patterns alternating with bluish white and bluish gray. Sometimes they are yellowish brown, shiny, soft and easy to peel off, and the cross section is fibrous, which is easy to crack longitudinally and twisted like silk. The base silk is soft, smooth, elastic, itchy on the skin and difficult to remove, and all of them have a smell.
Quenching actinolite: break pure actinolite into small pieces, or calcine it with wine for quenching. After calcination and quenching, the quenched actinolite is blue-brown amorphous powder and its luster disappears.
It is salty and slightly warm. Kidney meridian.
Efficacy: Warming kidney and strengthening yang: Indicating impotence and nocturnal emission in men, infertility due to kidney-yang deficiency in women, palace cold, metrorrhagia, cold pain in waist and knees.
The usage of traditional Chinese medicine is 3-6g, which is taken by pills.
