First, news events (sticking ham bones)
To tell the truth, it's really a bad thing to buy "patch-wrapped bone ham".
However, whenever a merchant writes "bacon bones" on the outer packaging and clearly tells consumers that this is bones, not a big piece of meat, we will not feel that this matter is "wonderful", and we will not feel indignant.
I just brushed this news, and the explanation of the relevant personnel is that ham bones need to be pasted with meat to prevent the bones from puncturing the bag during vacuum packaging. In this way, it is really understandable that bones stick to meat. If our consumers knew in advance that there was such a big bone in it, they might consider it before buying it.
I am not a ham lover. Although I know that ham bone stew and seasoning are excellent, people buy ham for different purposes. Many of us buy ham just to eat meat. Packaging bones into meat is completely invisible in appearance, which will make those of us who don't know the inside story feel cheated. Buying this kind of bacon is just like eating boiled chicken in the canteen. As a result, all uncle in the canteen called me was chicken rack. All bones, what to eat?
Second, the common synthetic meat
Although the bacon is not strictly synthetic meat, we really feel cheated when we buy such meat before we know the truth. Let's talk about several kinds of synthetic meats that are common in our life. They are three musketeers in hot pot (meatballs, crab roes, beef and mutton rolls (part)), cheap steak, ham sausage, chicken fillet and chicken chops.
Three Musketeers of Hot Pot: If you eat hot pot or mala Tang and don't order meatballs, crab roes and beef and mutton rolls, there is basically nothing to eat. If you have bought meatballs in the vegetable market or online, you will know how low the unit price of meatballs in restaurants is. I'm not a small eater, but if I buy my own meatballs and buy ten pieces, I can eat myself to the fullest. Crab fillets are similar to meatballs. They are cheap because there is meat in them, but the main ingredient is starch and essence is added.
And some beef meatballs are probably made of minced meat of cattle and sheep, and some are even cheaper meat, such as duck. Since knowing this fact, when I eat starch balls, my mood will be a little complicated, and I can't show off beef and mutton rolls.
Cheap steaks and some beef and mutton rolls are also "the same." It may be processed with minced meat, or it may be fake duck meat. Ducks probably never thought that they could become "cows" one day.
Needless to say, most ham sausages are written with starch on the ingredient list. Some ham sausages are not installed, and "I am starch intestines" is written directly on the outer packaging. Even if some canteens sell ham sausage as a meat dish, it can only be regarded as synthetic meat at most, not even meat (pure starch sausage).
I used to think that "chicken fillet" and "chicken chops" were chicken breasts, but later I learned that they were also synthetic. Don't say that in those days, a new big piece of chicken chops is still my dream. The meat is tender and big. I have always wondered why a chicken can grow such a large piece of chicken breast. Synthetic meat answers my doubts. Although a piece of meat can't become that big, adding meat glue can make many pieces of meat become a big piece of meat.
Third, the identification method of synthetic meat
I suddenly found that there are quite a lot of synthetic meat in our lives. Although there are many, synthetic meat is not bad meat, nor is it all inedible meat. As long as the synthetic meat is good, it doesn't hurt to eat some synthetic meat. Of course, if possible, it would be better to eat raw or whole cut meat. Here are a few ways to distinguish synthetic meat:
1. It is packaged.
(1) Look at the cover of the package. It says "XX flavor". Don't look at it. It must be synthetic meat.
(2) Looking at the implementation standard number (usually on the back), generally, all the meat starting with "SB" is synthetic meat (for example, SB/T 10635), while the meat starting with "GB" is original cut meat. You can remember the initial letter of the execution standard number of synthetic meat according to the homonym.
(3) Look at the ingredients list. The original cut meat will be very clean, only meat; Whole-cut meat will also be cleaner, with a little additive besides meat; There are many other food additives in the ingredient list of synthetic meat.
2. No packaging
(1) Look at the color and texture. The color and texture of the synthetic meat will be different from that of the original cut meat. If you think it looks unnatural, it may be synthetic meat. (Eating too much raw meat makes it easier to judge)
(2) Tear by hand. If white meat and red meat are connected and will not be separated as soon as they are torn, then the meat is cut raw or whole. The red and white meat of synthetic meat is easy to separate.
