Linwu Duck, one of the eight famous ducks in China, is a national geographical indication protection product. It is mainly produced in Wushui River Basin, Linwu County, one of the sources of the Pearl River. It has been a royal tribute for thousands of years and enjoys a high reputation in southern Hunan and northern Guangdong. Compared with other ducks, Linwu duck grows in farmland, streams, ponds and reservoirs, eats shrimp and plays in Shan Ye, so its meat quality is extremely delicate and delicious. The growth cycle of Linwu duck is very long, only two and a half kilograms in seventy or eighty days, while other vegetable ducks and fast-growing ducks can grow to four or five kilograms in thirty or forty days.
