After the death of Emperor Zhongzong of the Tang Dynasty, Li Chongmao was established as the emperor, known as the Tang Shao Di. After the death of Emperor Zhongzong of the Tang Dynasty, Li Chongmao was appointed as the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty. She allowed her daughter, Princess Anle, to sell her official position and built temples and Taoist monasteries in a lavish manner. Later, Li Longji and Princess Taiping staged a coup d'état, in which Empress Wei and others were killed, forcing the young emperor to abdicate and installing Li Dan (father of Li Longji) as the emperor, who became Emperor Ruizong of Tang. The chaos of Queen Wei, finally ended.
