Brown sugar dumplings
Preparation:
100 grams of glutinous rice flour, 76 grams of hot water, 70 grams of brown sugar, 1/2 bowl of water and 1 tablespoon of cooked white sesame seeds.
Step 1
Prepare the main ingredients needed, white sesame seeds are cooked, glutinous rice flour is sifted and weighed, brown sugar is not limited to any brand.
Step 2
Pour the prepared hot water slowly into the glutinous rice flour and stir with chopsticks until no liquid is visible.
Step 3
Knead again with your hands and knead well. The kneaded dough is smooth and non-sticky. If the kneaded out sticky hands, or easy to crumble, kneaded not into a ball, it means that you have added more or less water, you need to adjust the amount of water. Because the water absorption of each brand of glutinous rice flour is not the same.
Step 4
Divide the dough into 2-gram balls and roll them out with your hands, which is just the right size for small dumplings.
Step 5
After rolling, you can cook the dumplings directly in the pot, or freeze them if you make more. Just like dumplings, you can freeze them in the refrigerator by spreading them flat on a plate, so that they don't stick together when they are hardened, and you can store them in a bag in the freezer.
Step 6
This is the hardened dumplings, when you need to eat them, take them out of the freezer and cook them directly in the pot.
Step 7
Put enough water in the pot and add the dumplings when the water boils.
Step 8
When all the dumplings float, they are ready. They are small in size, so they are very well cooked.
Step 9
Be sure to run the dumplings under cool water. This prevents them from sticking together. Just like the dumplings that are placed on a plate need to be turned over, they are also afraid of sticking together when they are hot.
Step 10
Put the dumplings in the water and set aside.
