How to distinguish true from false honey:
First: look at the color. Because authentic native honey contains a large number of complex ingredients, it is generally turbid and contains some impurities; since native honey contains a large amount of active enzymes, white foam will appear in the bottle in hot weather; and some "processed honey" sold in supermarkets , obviously does not have this feature.
Second: Smell. Real honey usually has the aroma of flowers or herbs, and can smell a bit of fermented sweetness and sourness and the bitterness of herbs.
Third: Look at the status. Authentic honey crystallizes easily, while fake honey basically does not crystallize all year round. Many people think that honey that does not crystallize is good honey. This concept is wrong because fake honey does not crystallize at all.
Fourth: Taste. Real honey is sweet and delicious. When you taste it directly, it has a slightly spicy throat feeling and a slightly sour taste, with a long aftertaste. After crystallization, the honey pieces are crispy when you put them in your teeth, and they melt when you hold them in your mouth. They have a rustling texture when you bite them, and they feel particularly soft. Fake honey has a bitter taste, and the crystallized pieces taste like sugar when chewed, with a crisp and loud sound.
