2. Pineapple dividing method: take the mother plant out of the flowerpot, shake off the excess pot soil, separate the knotted roots as far as possible, and cut them into two or more trees with a sharp knife. Each separated plant should have a considerable root system, and its leaves should be properly trimmed to facilitate survival.

Matters needing attention when framing:

(1) When the side buds of pineapple just grow out, the leaves and roots of the side seedlings are too tender to touch, otherwise the leaves will break easily and the new seedlings will not survive.

(2) The lateral buds should grow next to the mother plant for one or two months, and the lateral seedlings will grow several layers of leaves, the color will turn dark green, and the stems will be lignified to a certain extent. At this time, the lateral seedlings are tough and not easy to break.

(3) Don't use too much force in the operation points; Never break the roots of lateral plants. If the new seedlings have no roots, although there is a chance of survival, the survival rate will be greatly reduced.

The safest way to grow pineapples is to turn the whole pot upside down with soil, hold the plants down and pat the bottom of the pot, and the plants will leave the flowerpot with soil balls (this is the standard pot changing method). Then, gently shake off the soil attached to the plant, break off the mother plant and the lateral plant by hand, and replant them separately.

Tip: after the pineapple is divided into plants, water it once, and then let the pot soil dry thoroughly; Put it in a cool and humid place for about half a month, and the new seedlings will take root and grow normally. Normal maintenance can be resumed at this time. When dividing plants, the key is to be meticulous and accurate. Try a few more times and you'll have the skill.
