This standard replaces the safety regulations of GB11984-1989 chlorine.
Compared with GB11984-1989, the main changes of this standard are as follows:
—— The relevant standards on fire prevention and hygiene that chlorine gas devices should abide by were revised (14.2 and 4.3 in version 989 and 3.3 and 3.4 in this version);
—— Increased the requirement of sanitary protection distance that chlorine production enterprises should abide by (see 3.5);
—— The emergency repair equipment and protective equipment that should be equipped for chlorine devices have been modified (1989 version 4.6, this version 3.8);
—— An alarm device should be set in the workplace of chlorine device (see 3.10);
—— Units that have added chlorine gas shall prepare emergency plans (see 3.17);
—— Increased requirements for nitrogen trichloride index (see 4.6);
-The filling safety of liquid chlorine gas cylinders, liquid chlorine tank cars and railway tank cars has been increased (see 5.2);
-Relevant safety requirements for gas cylinders with filling capacity of 100 kg have been added (see 6. 1.3, 6. 1.4, 8. 1.3, 8.1.13).
—— Modified the water temperature index of cylinder heating (1989 version 6. 1. 10, this version 6.1.5);
—— The use safety of liquid chlorine tank cars and railway tank cars has been increased (see 6.2);
—— An accident cofferdam shall be set up in the area where the liquid chlorine storage tank is added (see 7.2.4);
—— Increased the transportation safety of liquid chlorine tank cars and railway tank cars (see 8.2);
—— Deleted the contents related to leakage prevention and emergency rescue (chapter 7 of version 1989).
