Application

1. Kidney deficiency, impotence, cold pain in waist and knees. This product is bitter, pungent, warm and dry, and is good at strengthening kidney yang and warming the water viscera. It is often used with dodder, walnut meat, and agarwood to treat impotence due to kidney deficiency, such as psoralen pills ("Heji Bureau Prescription"); it is used with Eucommia ulmoides and walnut meat to treat impotence due to kidney deficiency. Used to treat kidney deficiency and yang failure, cold pain in the waist and knees invaded by wind and cold, such as Qing'e Pills.

2. Kidney deficiency causes spermatorrhea, enuresis, and frequent urination. This product has both astringent properties, is good at tonifying the kidneys and yang, fixing sperm and reducing urination. It is effective when used alone, and can also be combined with other medicines according to the syndrome. For treating synovial fluid, stir-fry psoralen and green salt into equal parts and take it as a final dose ("Three Causes of Prescriptions"); for treating enuresis in children, use this product alone and stir-fry it as a final dose ("Bu Yao Pocket Powder") "Pediatric Prescriptions"); divided into pills with fennel in equal parts, it can treat cold kidney qi and excessive urination, such as Po Gu Zhi Wan ("Wei's Family Prescription").

3. Spleen and kidney yang deficiency causes diarrhea at the fifth watch. This product can strengthen kidney yang, warm spleen yang, and reduce astringency to stop diarrhea. It can be made into pills with nutmeg, ginger, and jujube, such as Ershen Pills ("Puji Benshi Prescription"); or Evodia and Schisandra chinensis can be added on top to treat both. The discharge at the fifth watch is like Sishen Pills ("Principles of Syndrome and Treatment").

4. The kidneys are not able to absorb qi, and there is deficiency and cold, wheezing and coughing. This product nourishes the kidneys, supports yang, relieves qi and relieves asthma. It can be combined with walnut meat, honey, etc. to treat asthma and cough due to deficiency and cold, such as Zhichuan Fang ("Medical Prescriptions"); or it can be combined with ginseng, costus, etc. to treat deficiency, asthma and tuberculosis. Cough ("Shi Zhai Medical Prescription").

Note when using this product: This product is warm and dry in nature and can damage yin and help fire. Therefore, people with yin deficiency and excessive fire and constipation should not take it.
