Performance Jujube is sweet, flat in nature, and enters the spleen and stomach meridians. It contains protein (3.3%), sugars, organic acids, mucilage, vitamins (A, B 1, B2, C, P) and trace amounts of calcium, phosphorus and iron.
The role of jujube: ① tonify the spleen and stomach. "Seeking Truth from Materia Medica" says: "Jujube ... needs medicine to tonify the spleen and stomach". Used for reducing diet and diarrhea caused by spleen and stomach qi deficiency. (2) nourishing yin and blood, suitable for women's dirty and impetuous syndrome caused by yin and blood deficiency (manifested as easy sadness and crying, inability to make decisions, upset heart), various blood deficiency syndromes, anemia and thrombocytopenic purpura. (3) Alleviate the medicinal properties, which is used in the case that severe drugs for eliminating pathogenic factors are easy to damage the healthy qi. Jujube is often used to alleviate its side effects and maintain the healthy qi from being damaged. For example, when using Dagan, Gansui, Daphne genkwa and Lepidium, vital qi is often injured. At this time, jujube is added to make evil go away without damaging vital qi.
Pay attention to and avoid fullness and phlegm-dampness in the gastric cavity, and avoid it for children with malnutrition, gastrointestinal stagnation and frequent toothache.
Formula and usage
(1) Jujube porridge: 5-8 jujubes, glutinous rice100g, put in a pot, add a proper amount of water, cook porridge, and add a proper amount of sugar to eat. Among them, jujube strengthens the spleen and stomach to replenish qi and blood; Glutinous rice and white sugar are used together to tonify the spleen and stomach, replenish qi and blood. People with spleen and stomach weakness, qi deficiency and less blood can take it often.
(2) glutinous rice porridge of red dates and sheep bones: 20-30 red dates, sheep tibia1~ 2, lotus seeds15g, and appropriate amount of glutinous rice. Wash red dates, remove the core, break sheep tibia, cook porridge in casserole, add seasoning, and take it several times a day/kloc-0. Jujube nourishes the spleen and stomach, sheep tibia nourishes the kidney and bones, lotus seeds and glutinous rice tonify the spleen and qi, and the same flavors are used to tonify the spleen and stomach, qi and blood, and strengthen bones and muscles. Taking it by the weak can increase appetite and strengthen strength, and can also be used for people with liver and kidney deficiency and weak waist and legs, or for treating anemia and aplastic anemia.
(3) Spleen-invigorating cake: raw Atractylodes macrocephala120g, and dried ginger 60g. 60 grams of raw chicken gizzard-membrane and 500 grams of jujube meat. Bake Atractylodis Rhizoma, Zingiberis Rhizoma and Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli, grind them into fine powder, mash jujube meat, mix the medicinal powder with jujube paste, make into small cakes, and bake them on charcoal fire or pan-fry them. Chew on an empty stomach and eat as a snack. The prescription uses jujube meat to tonify the spleen and stomach. Atractylodes macrocephala strengthens spleen and transports dampness, dried ginger dissipates cold in dampness, stimulates appetite and promotes digestion with internal gold, and several flavors * * * warm the spleen and transport dampness and promote digestion, which are suitable for anorexia and diarrhea caused by spleen-stomach yang deficiency with cold and dampness.
(4) Jujube and plum bean soup: 30g of jujube, 60g of plum bean, 0/5g of poria cocos and 0/5g of garlic. The prescription uses jujube to strengthen the spleen and benefit qi, plum beans to strengthen the spleen and remove dampness, cloud poria cocos to eliminate fat, garlic to help poria cocos to diuresis, and several flavors use spleen and benefit qi to diuresis and detumescence. Suitable for spleen edema, or dystrophic edema.
(5) Red dates, black beans and astragalus soup: 20 red dates, 60 grams of black beans and 30 grams of astragalus. Wash several herbs, decoct in water, daily 1 dose, and take twice. The prescription uses red dates to replenish qi, black beans to replenish qi, nourish yin and stop sweating, and Astragalus membranaceus to replenish qi and prevent sweating. Suitable for spontaneous sweating due to qi deficiency.
