Anita and star anise are the same thing. Illicium verum, also known as Illicium verum, fennel or fennel, is called in different places. Northerners like to call it star anise, while southerners like to call it star anise. Illicium verum is a famous flavoring agent, which is very popular all over the country. Often used in braised dishes, it can make the flavor of meat stand out.

Distribution range:

The origin is mostly south of 25 north latitude, with annual precipitation 1000mm and relative humidity above 80%. In winter and spring, there is dew and fog in dry season. The annual average temperature is 19 ~ 23℃, and the average temperature in Leng Yue is above 10℃. Mainly produced in western and southern Guangxi (mostly cultivated in Baise, Nanning, Qinzhou, Wuzhou, Yulin and other areas), with an altitude of 200-700 meters, while the natural distribution can reach an altitude of 1600 meters. Yanshan Mountain in Guilin (about 2511'n) and Doushui Town in Shangrao, Jiangxi (25 50' N) have been introduced and bloomed normally. It is also planted in southern Fujian, southeastern and southern Yunnan, Guangdong, Guizhou, southern Shaanxi Qinling and Vietnam.
