What factors should be paid attention to in the process of lettuce planting?
1. Planting density. It is unreasonable to blindly pursue density, so even if it is planted, it is basically all small lettuce, one is the problem of nutrients, and the other is the problem of growth space. The growth of lettuce should pay attention to two elements: nutrients and growth space. If the space is insufficient, even if the lettuce is rich in nutrients, it will gradually slow down the rate of digestion and absorption, thus slowing down the growth. Therefore, no matter whether the soil layer is rich or not, everyone needs to pay attention to leaving enough gaps when planting, which is convenient for their own management.
2. Fertilize. Lettuce has a high demand for fertilizer in the planting process, so it needs to be fertilized three times in the whole growth period, and the first time is carried out after transplanting 10 days. At this time, some urea or organic fertilizer should be applied, and irrigation method should be generally used to prevent the high concentration from affecting the growth of seedlings. The second fertilization is when the lettuce grows to 25 cm. At this time, urea is mainly used to promote its growth. In the third fertilization, when the fleshy stems swell, urea is the main fertilizer, and 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate is sprayed on the fused leaves to prevent the stems from cracking.
3. Irrigation management. Lettuce needs less water first, and then more. In front of it, you just need to keep the soil layer planted not too dry. With the growing season, lettuce will grow and expand rapidly, and the demand for water will increase day by day. At this time, it is necessary to ensure that the soil layer is relatively humid, otherwise the dry matter of lettuce will grow too fast and the water can't keep up, and the lettuce will look very dry and bitter, which will affect everyone's income.
