Looking for Lydia, the murderer who killed his wife in the fire. During the investigation, more and more evidence proved Ted's inference: in addition to the 66 mental criminals with files, there was another person with the number 67, but no matter the prison guards, doctors or other patients denied it.
Ted is convinced that this 67 is the murderer of his wife Lydia, and there must be a big conspiracy.
But his companion Chuck reminded him that this might be a secret laboratory of the government. The government sent Ted here because he was the best subject, because he was traumatized by the tragic death of his wife. Ted denied it, saying that he applied to investigate the case here himself. He suspected that the murderer who caused his wife's tragic death was hiding on this island, and things became confusing.
Ted's migraine symptoms are getting worse and worse in the investigation, and hallucinations and nightmares often appear. When he joined the army, the horrors of Nazi concentration camps kept flashing before his eyes, and he vowed not to let Nazi acts appear here again.
In a hidden cave on the cliff, Ted found the missing female prisoner Rachel. Rachel told him that she was originally a psychiatrist here, and the government was conducting non-human living experiments here. She couldn't accept the fact, was framed by others and was taken into custody as a "mental patient". She's just trying to escape.
Rachel told Ted that if she wanted to solve the secret, she would go to the lighthouse, because that was the root of all this. Ted fought back headaches and hallucinations and sneaked into the lighthouse, only to find that there was only one guard. He stunned the guard, grabbed the gun and rushed to the top floor, only to find that Cowley, the attending doctor on the island, was already waiting for him, and there was no trace or evidence of human experiments on the lighthouse, only a humble office.
Cowley told Ted why all this happened, and his partner Chuck explained that he was actually Ted's chief therapist for two years, which shocked Ted like a bolt from the blue.
It turned out that all this was Ted's dream. Mystery patient 67, Lydia that Ted always suspected, was himself.
The doctor told Ted that his real name was Andrew Ledis. His wife was mentally ill and committed suicide after drowning her three children. He was also deeply traumatized. In the subconscious of self-protection, he forgot all about his three children and created a brand-new Ledis and that unforgettable fire. This created "Ledis" was designed by him as a killer with scars, Persian cat eyes and heinous crimes.
He himself is a model husband "Ted". He joined the police after leaving the army and loved his wife deeply. Only when he dreams and hallucinates is his first memory.
All these behaviors are a play made by Dr. Cowley in order to cure Ted's illness and cooperate with his consciousness. I hope he can get out of it. Dr Cowley is convinced that this method can cure most mental patients. Ted (Lydia) wants to fight back against Dr. Cowley's "framing", but finds himself more and more powerless and confused.
Dr. Cowley told him that if he couldn't wake up and still thought he was a good man "Ted", he must take "moral measures" to remove the white matter in the anterior lobe. Because he has hurt almost all the guards, doctors and patients since he came to this island, but he knows nothing about it.
