Materials
170g of low gluten flour, 30g of cornstarch, 40g of sugar, 2g of baking powder and 200g of water.
Methods
1 Dissolve the yeast and sugar in water, and mix the cornstarch and flour together;
2 Pour the yeast water into the mixture, and stir with chopsticks;
3 Sprinkle some raisins or chopped dates into the mixture;
4 Pour the batter into a greased container, cover with a damp cloth and let it rise until it doubles in height;
5 Steam for 20 minutes and simmer for 5 minutes. Allow to cool, then invert and cut into cubes.
