The common diseases of cowhide are brown spot and leaf spot, which can be controlled by carbendazim or Bordeaux mixture. If pests are found, scientific drugs should be used to prevent them.
Harvest: 30 ~ 40 days after planting, the leaves can be peeled off for use, 3 ~ 5 leaves are peeled off for each plant, and 4 ~ 5 leaves are left for further growth. According to the season and growth situation, the number of leaves to be peeled is determined. When the growth is fast from June to July, it can be harvested for 4 to 5 times, and more than 4000kg of fresh leaves can be produced per 667m2.
Seed-keeping: at the beginning of 1 1 month, dig out the roots and cut off the leaves, dig holes and bury them to prevent freezing injury, and plant them at the beginning of April of the following year, with the row-to-plant spacing of 35 ~1/25px. With good management, seeds can be harvested in early July, and generally 50 ~ 60 seeds can be produced every 667m2.
