First, eat Yuanxiao.
Eating Yuanxiao on the fifteenth day of the first month, as a kind of food, has a long history in China. In the Song Dynasty, a novel Yuanxiao food was popular among the people. This kind of food was originally called "Floating Zi Yuan" and later called "Yuanxiao".
Second, look at the lights
In order to promote Buddhism, Emperor Hanming ordered lanterns to be lit in palaces and temples on the fifteenth night of the first month to show the Buddha. Since then, the custom of putting lanterns on the Lantern Festival has spread from the original palace to the people.
Third, walk on stilts.
Walking on stilts is a popular folk performance, belonging to one of hundreds of ancient dramas in China, which appeared as early as the Spring and Autumn Period. China first introduced stilts in Liezi Fu Shuo: people with Zilan in Song Dynasty used their skills to do it in Song and Yuan Dynasties.
