1. The fragrance of osmanthus. The tree is of medium vigor, with an open crown. The average weight of a single fruit is 11.9 grams, and the seed yield is 40%. The fruit shell is dark purple and shiny, the flesh is yellow, sweet and tender, with a mellow aroma of cinnamon. It is one of the best chestnut varieties in Luotian County.

2. Woolly chestnut. The tree is strong and adaptable to the climate. The fruits are large, usually 20 pieces weigh 1 kilogram. It has strong drought resistance, is resistant to storage, has fewer pests and diseases, and can produce high and stable harvests. Generally, saplings will bear fruit in the second year after grafting and mature in late September.

3. Zhongchili. The fruit is large, purple-red in color, yellow-white flesh, crispy and delicious, and matures in late September.

4. June bud. Also known as Nuomitou, it is a strong tree with 1 to 3 fruit balls on each branch. The balls are large and have thin shells. The average weight of a single fruit is 2.5 grams. It is highly resistant to drought, diseases and insect pests, but is not storage resistant. The saplings will bear fruit in the second year after grafting. They will enter the fruiting period in five years and mature from the end of August to the beginning of September.
