Isatis indigotica leaves come from roadside green leaves of Whipple family. Bitter and cold in nature, it has the effects of clearing away heat and toxic materials, cooling blood to stop bleeding, eliminating spots and removing blood stasis.

Folium Isatidis has a wide range of applications, and can be used for coma due to high fever, macula, jaundice, dysentery, mumps, pharyngolaryngitis, erysipelas, various unknown swelling viruses, influenza, transmissible hepatitis, chronic bronchitis, epidemic meningitis B, acute appendicitis, lung-heat cough, upper respiratory tract infection, acute gastroenteritis, pneumonia, gingival bleeding and furuncle.

Usage and dosage:10 ~ 30g for oral administration, 30 ~ 90g for fresh products, and appropriate amount for external use, which can be decocted and washed, and should not be used for patients with spleen and stomach deficiency and cold. Indirubin is the main ingredient.
