What kinds of fireproof materials are there?
fire-proof plate
Fireproof board, also called fire-resistant board, is a common material, which can be used in various scenes such as passages, stairs and public areas. There are many kinds and colors.
Fire curtain
Fire shutter door is composed of shutter door, reel, motor, guide rail, protective cover and controller, and is often used in separated scenes with large openings and no firewall.
flameproof glass
Fire-proof glass can be divided into hollow fire-proof glass, wire-sandwiched fire-proof glass and composite laminated fire-proof glass, which has good light transmittance and fire resistance. It is not difficult to find the application of fireproof glass in banks, libraries, shops, hotels, stations, administrative buildings and so on.
fireproof paint
Fire retardant coatings contain flame retardant components such as paraffin wax and chlorinated rubber, which will automatically expand into 200mm thick foam in case of fire, forming a protective layer, achieving a certain flame retardant effect, and are mostly used for cable surface protection.
Fire-proof door
There are two kinds of fire doors: nonmetal fire doors and metal fire doors, which are often used at the openings of firewalls, passages, stairs and pipeline wells.
Fireproof window frame
Fire windows are mostly made of pine combined with graphite, which can effectively prevent fire for 30min under normal circumstances, and have stronger fire resistance compared with aluminum alloy window frames.
Fireproof plugging material
Fire-proof plugging materials are divided into inorganic fire-proof plugging materials, organic fire-proof plugging materials and fire-proof bags, which are corrosion-resistant and heavy oil-resistant, fast and convenient, and are often used to plug wires and holes in petrochemical, communication, electric power, construction and other industries.
Fireproof bag
It is mainly used for fireproof plugging of various cables in dry power, communication, petrochemical, construction, shipping and other industries, which can effectively prevent the fire from spreading along the cable and avoid the loss of life and property to the maximum extent. The product has the characteristics of good air permeability at room temperature, acid and alkali resistance, water resistance, oil resistance, light weight and convenient use. When it meets fire, it expands and carbonizes rapidly, forming a fire barrier with a certain thickness and strength, and absorbs heat and releases nonflammable gas during the expansion and carbonization process.
Fireproof plastic material
Fire-retardant plastic materials are mainly used for electrical appliances that can generate high heat energy and high temperature, such as printers and hot air cylinders. Fire rating is mainly achieved by modifying resin or adding different materials. The additive materials are usually glass fiber, calcium carbonate, etc. According to different proportions, resin is injected to form fireproof plastic materials.
Fireproof cement
Also known as organic fireproof plugging material, it is made by using organic synthetic resin as adhesive, adding fireproof agent and filler and rolling. The plugging material does not solidify for a long time, has good plasticity and can be plugged at will. This plugging material is mainly used in the fire-proof plugging project of building pipelines and through holes of electric wires and cables, and is used in conjunction with inorganic fire-proof plugging materials and normalizing bags.
Flame retardant materials are divided into six grades.
1, Grade A: non-combustible building materials, almost non-combustible materials.
2. Grade A 1: non-combustible, no open flame.
3. Grade 3.A2: non-combustible, smoke measurement is required, and it must be qualified.
4.B 1 grade: flame retardant building materials, which have good flame retardant effect.
5. Category 5.B2: combustible building materials, which have a certain flame retardant effect.
6. Class 6.B3: flammable building materials, which have no flame retardant effect, are extremely flammable and have great fire risk.
Fireproof materials refer to all kinds of materials that play an absolute role in modern fire prevention and are mostly used in buildings. Commonly used fire-proof materials include fire-proof board, fire-proof door, fire-proof glass, fire-proof paint, fire-proof bag, etc.
A material that can prevent or delay the spread of flame. Used for fire prevention. There are incombustible materials and incombustible materials. Noncombustible materials will not burn. Combustible materials are flammable, but they are flame retardant, that is, they are not easy to catch fire and carbonize, and combustion can stop after the fire source is removed, so they are also called flame retardant materials.
In the flame retardant materials, except a few with flame retardant function, in most occasions, they are made of flame retardant, flame retardant impregnating agent or flame retardant coating on flammable materials. From the perspective of fire safety, civil buildings should use fireproof materials instead of flammable materials as much as possible to reduce fire load and slow down the spread of fire. According to different use requirements, the fire performance is determined by corresponding combustion tests.
