Sichuan folk songs are mainly distributed in local areas such as the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture and the higher altitude areas of the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan. These places are located on the east side of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, surrounded by mountains on both sides of the upper reaches of the Minjiang River and on both sides of the Dadu River. The original singing style of the Han residents in this area is very outstanding, and their songs are ethereal, vast, and highly penetrating.
