People run in the painting, romantic Wuxi tour

After running a marathon, I often listen to comments from fellow runners in the group about major marathons. Apart from the large-scale events in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, the one that attracts me the most is the Pink Romantic Wuxi Marathon. Looking at the promotional photo and the pink competition clothes, especially the pink gloves for each hand, they are so attractive to me as a little girl. Hehe. After registering several times with no results, I was a little excited to be selected as a candidate this year. Next, I will share my process of eating, drinking and having fun in Wuxi for your reference only.

Because I didn’t buy tickets in advance, I only bought the 1230 train at 19:57 on March 21. After more than 20 hours of bumpy travel, I arrived in Wuxi on the afternoon of the 22nd. Wuxi is located in the south of Jiangsu Province. It is a famous historical and cultural city. It has been known as the land of plenty since ancient times. The weather was a bit gloomy when I got off the train, and I was still inexperienced. I only wore a set of sportswear and quickly put on the leather jacket I had brought with me. I could change to Metro Line 1 at the station. I had a public account that followed the Huipao event before, and I knew that after getting off the subway line 1, there was a shuttle bus to pick up equipment.

After exiting the subway smoothly, I saw event volunteers and the shuttle bus for fans. Please leave when the train starts is full or on the hour, but don’t worry, most of the people who come to the subway station are contestants. It takes less than 5 minutes to drive to Taihu Expo Center.

When you get off the bus, there are signs to collect your belongings. Follow the signs to the venue to collect your competition package smoothly. Wuxi Lingwu is a sea of ??pink, let’s let the pictures speak for itself.

The sign you will see when you get off the car

Maybe I went to the pink venue late. Like the weather that day, it seemed a bit deserted. To enter the venue, you need to swipe your ID card, take a small form and go to the corresponding window to get your competition number

Like the North Horse, you need to wear a ring, but this can be removed and put on by yourself. There is no technical content, but The little brother was very patient and personally explained the various steps to collect the items

After receiving the competition number, you can try on the competition clothes and store the clothes bag. At this time, facial recognition technology will be available

You can try the size of competition clothes in advance before choosing.

Wuxi Marathon’s black technology, press the button to pick up your clothes

After you have received your clothes, go get your transparent clothing storage bag

ASICS’ largest venue

It is said that he is a horse racing celebrity, take a picture of it

After receiving the equipment, I started to pick up the wool. Because I joined the "move free" team, the boss generously gave me UTO competition clothes, and A large bottle of Vigor

After collecting the items, we left the venue; there is a wall where you can hang your own small sign for a group photo. You have to queue up, so I won’t enter

After collecting your belongings, queue up for the shuttle bus to the subway entrance and return to the hotel. I previously booked an Ibis hotel at Taihu Plaza. You can see the hotel right out of Exit 3 of Taihu Plaza Station. It is 4 kilometers away from the starting point of the competition. It is very convenient for shopping malls, attractions, and eating around. The main prices are reasonable, and you can get free coats of milk, bread, and eggs at the hotel front desk on the day of the competition with your bib number. After checking in successfully, we quickly went out to find food; we had to go to Plaza 66 for a cup of hey tea. After receiving the entry package, the next day was spent eating, drinking, walking around and taking photos. Wuxi Sanfengqiao’s pork ribs, gluten buns, century-old plum blossom cakes, Wuxi noodles, Din Tai Fung’s steamed buns, sauced pork ribs, and hot and sour soup. In Taiwan, you have to get together for hot pot, soup, and meat. If there are a lot of people, it’s still recommended to go there. Wuxi cuisine Internet celebrity restaurant "Lao Niu Wo Li" requires queuing up in advance to call in. The average price per person is about 63, and a menu is attached.

After eating, we just went shopping. The features of Huishan Ancient Town, Nanchan Temple, Ancient Canal, and Jiangnan Water Town are basically the same. At this time, it’s really too cold indoors in the south. It’s quite poetic to sit in a tea shop by the river, drink tea, crack melon seeds, bask in the sun and watch the passers-by. Ge You can lie down all afternoon with a pot of tea, which is quite poetic.

Night has fallen. After eating and taking a walk, it’s time to welcome the most important day on the 24th. I rode back to the hotel and started preparing my race clothes and food for the morning. Take a makeup photo. Because I was afraid of the cold, I brought a thermal blanket and wore long pants.

On the morning of the 24th, I got up at 5:30 to wash up, boil water and make instant noodles.

Because I had a cold when I came here and was in a special period of health, my goal was just to finish the race. I woke up early and even washed my hair. After putting on makeup, eating instant noodles, and riding a hello bicycle, the 4-kilometer warm-up before the race began. We were almost at the starting point, and there were quite a lot of people there, but the venue was quite small, it felt like you couldn't turn around, and it didn't have the atmosphere that you had imagined. This is my first time running a marathon in the South. I have no experience and the weather is really cold, cold, cold. Even though I had a coat on, I was still shivering from the cold. I envy those great men who wear shorts and short sleeves.

I saved my bag and rushed to my F area. It's really far and wide. Because the track is narrow, the track is crowded. We agreed to start at 7:30. It was after 8 o'clock that I squeezed into the pink arch at the starting point, but it was still not atmospheric, and there was no enthusiastic rhythm of singing and dancing.

The Xima Circuit is still very scenic, with beautiful scenery and fresh air. The track design is also reasonable. In the first half of the race, we passed most of the scenic spots in Wuxi and even entered Jiangnan University. In the second half of the race, we traveled from ancient times to the feeling of a modern city, with tall buildings and a prosperous economy. The narrow track also has its advantages. There are crowds of people all the way from the beginning to the end, so I don’t feel lonely at all. Here’s the key point. There are too few supplies in Xima. In addition to water, drinks, small pieces of bananas, sponges, and energy gels after 30 kilometers, I ran so slowly that I didn’t see any of them; there was a KFC at 35 kilometers. The egg tarts are a highlight, but they are too greasy to be eaten; the supplies are indeed not as grand as our events in Northeast China, with a variety of food, and no matter how slow you run, you will enjoy VIP service; nor are the volunteer spectators on both sides of the track. So passionate, if I wasn’t listening to music, I would really feel super boring and devoid of passion.

For fast runners, the Wuxi Marathon is very suitable for PB, and the temperature is very suitable for horse racing. (I felt cold during the second half of the race because I had a cold.) The scenery is pleasant and not boring.

Although there are several bridges and slopes running up and down on the road, for those of you who often come back from behind, this is a trivial matter and not worth mentioning.

The warmest companionship: brothers (whenever you encounter a slope, the brother next to you will push you from behind)

That’s it , I finished the race stumbling, cold and hungry. Yesterday I was still thinking about getting into the shelter car, but I finished the race in 519, which was much better than I expected. There is still no bright spot at the end, haha. It’s better to go to the Northern Marathon. The moment you cross the line, the photographer will take a photo of the finish line on top of the arch. The host will use the microphone to read out your race number and name to congratulate you on finishing the race.

The lobby for collecting equipment was cold and cold, and we had to wait in line for a long time. Many runners around me were complaining. They were so tired after just running that they still had to wait in the cold. They were given towels and quickly put them on

The finishing gloves in the finishing bag

To be honest, the Wuxi Marathon experience is mediocre, but the competition clothes and bath towels are really good quality and comfortable

The ceramic medal is taken from the front, everyone is taking the cherry blossoms, I will take the green space

The game is over, I replenished a bowl of beef hot and sour noodles and ate a few fried buns. After taking the high-speed rail home, if you want to see the results and the scenery, you can come to Wuxi and give it a try. For foodies like me who like liveliness, Northern Malaysia is better, hehe.
