The origin of Sanjiu wine is said to be related to a dutiful son. When the dutiful son was helping others, the boss gave him two zongzi as snacks. He couldn't bear to eat alone and wanted to leave it to his mother, so he hid Zongzi in an old tree hole and pulled out a handful of grass to cover it. Then it suddenly began to rain, and the dutiful son left in a hurry and forgot to take zongzi. Come to Tiantou again, palm seed has been soaked in rain and grass juice. Because he was too poor, the dutiful son took these two soft brown sons home for his mother to eat. Unexpectedly, after peeling off the shell, it immediately exudes a burst of fragrance and tastes surprisingly good. When the mother asked what was going on, the son replied that it was covered with a layer of grass. It turns out that this is a wine herb that can ferment rice. Later, the mother and son used the grass and flour to make cakes and brew sweet white wine. Slowly, this method of brewing spread. Because the three main ingredients are all white, it is called Sanjiu wine.
