Litchi seeds should be sown in April-June or August-September every year. Both times the germination rate is very good, and the late growth is also good. However, China is a vast country with different climatic conditions, so you can adjust the time according to the local climate.
Two, seed germination
Demolish the flesh of the finished lychee fruit, take out the core inside, and then wash it with water. In order to ensure germination, the seeds need to be accelerated. You can pick full, firm seeds, and then soak them in warm water, waiting for the seeds to absorb water and expand and crack. You can also wrap the seeds in moist gauze and place them in a warm place to germinate, spraying the gauze with water frequently will also help.
Three, the preparation of sandy soil
The preparation of soil is also important. You need to mix the soil and fine sand in the ratio of 1:2, which is both breathable and nutritious, and you can't use soil that is not breathable.
Four: Sowing
Insert the seeds into the soil with the cracks facing up. Arrange the seeds neatly and space them well, don't plant them too densely.
Fifth, care and management
Before germination, you need to spray water with a small spray bottle every day to ensure that the surface is moist, about ten days or so to germinate seedlings.
