So how do you treat a person who is a drunkard and has an external infection?

柯韵伯:平素好酒,湿热在中,故得甘必呕,仲景用方慎重如此,言外当知有葛根连芩以解肌之法矣。

Note the reference unit of measurement:

In the Han Dynasty prescription

one tael is about 15 grams in modern times,

one liter = 200 ml

(the amount of medicine determines the efficacy of the medicine and the good and bad, when used with caution!)

The above is the ancient Chinese herbal remedy that talks about how to treat the external wind-cold that leads to the stroke type (cold) and the external infection of the drinker.

For the typhoid type (cold) then you need to use another kind: ephedra soup, which will be shared in detail next time.
