What food does crayfish eat to feed?
Crayfish eat bean dregs, soybean milk and other foods to feed.

1, bean dregs

It is possible to raise crayfish with soybeans, but the biggest disadvantage is the high cost. Therefore, people usually raise crayfish with soybean as a by-product, that is, bean dregs. Crayfish cultured with bean dregs are mostly used for adult shrimp culture, that is, crayfish larvae are used after 2~3 cm. Before that, soybean milk was generally used for feeding.

2. Soymilk

Feeding crayfish with soybean milk is mainly at the stage of crayfish seedlings. At this time, crayfish mainly eat plankton and small organic debris, so grinding soybeans into soybean milk can also feed crayfish seedlings.

When feeding soybean milk to crayfish, the weight should be determined according to the number of shrimp seedlings in the pond. From the beginning, it was about half a catty per mu, and then it gradually increased to about 2 catty. In the later stage, the bean dregs are mixed with other bait and then fed together.

Matters needing attention in raising crayfish

1, seed problem

Seedling mainly involves the reasonable timing, density and purchasing standard of seedling. The best scheme for feeding crayfish seedlings is to feed the shrimps in September 9~ 10/October, feed the seed shrimps in June ~ August, and finally feed the shrimps in March ~ May. The planting density should be controlled at 80~ 100 kg per mu, and the density of polyculture mode should be reduced to 50~60 kg per mu. As far as possible, the seedlings should be purchased locally to avoid long-distance transportation. In the process of seedling transportation, windproof, dehydration prevention and low-temperature transportation should be done in place.

2. Feeding bait

In addition to the natural bait provided by aquaculture water, artificial auxiliary bait feeding is also extremely important in crayfish artificial culture. Choose baits with different diameters and protein contents according to different growing seasons of crayfish. Feed the bait properly, and never feed too much.

3. Water quality management

The water quality management of crayfish mainly includes water level, dissolved oxygen, etc. The water level needs to be constantly adjusted in combination with season, temperature, climate and crayfish growth cycle. The water quality needs to maintain proper fertility, water color, etc. Excellent water environment is the most solid foundation for crayfish culture.
