Starting from 1987, Guangzhou Tourism Department will organize "Guangzhou International Food Festival" around the autumn fair every year. This year is the 33rd year of Guangzhou International Food Festival, and the 8th year when it moved to Panyu.
The Food Festival will not only offer a wonderful food feast for the general public, but also further expand the influence of Guangzhou's catering culture and improve the city's popularity.

"Gourmet Tourism" Series Activities
1. Ten "Panyu Global Tourism Publicity Ambassadors" will spread the tourism food culture at the food festival, allowing citizens to experience the deep integration of "food tourism culture" interactively.
2. Hold a "10,000 tickets free" activity to further enrich the connotation of food festival activities in the form of "tourist food". During the food festival, tickets for some local tourist attractions will be given to the citizens participating in the event free of charge through various forms such as stage activities and official new media online activities.
Some tourist attractions in this area offer special discounts to consumers of food festivals. Lotus Mountain Tourist Area, Baomo Garden Nanyue Garden, Lingnan Impression Garden, Shawan Ancient Town, Yuyin Mountain House and other scenic spots all offer 50% discount for food festival consumers.
4. 2. Intangible cultural heritage enters the food festival, and the "Guangfu Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Zone" is set up at the food festival site to display the intangible cultural heritage products of our city, such as pineapple dumplings in Shuihuangpu, maple cakes in Chengzhulou, Cantonese preserved fruits, Wu Caiji Wonton Noodles, traditional boiled chicken, water chestnut, Cantonese sausage and so on. A "Heritage Food Experience Activity" is held once a day, so that citizens can learn and experience the production process of heritage food.
