Recipe for red date cake:
Ingredients: 5 eggs, 180g brown sugar or brown sugar, 240g low-gluten flour, 1g baking powder, 5g baking soda, 200g red dates, cooking oil 200g, appropriate amount of white sesame seeds, 100 ml of purified water.
Steps:
1. Boil the red dates in the ingredients first and cook them thoroughly.
2. Peel the cooked red dates one by one. Because they have been cooked, they are easy to remove.
3. Pour purified water into the mixture and use a food processor to grind it into powder. If you don’t have a food processor, use a knife to cut it.
4. Add eggs to brown sugar and stir evenly.
5. Add cooking oil and continue stirring.
6. Add the chopped red dates prepared previously and continue to stir evenly.
7. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda and continue to stir evenly. This is the final mixture, not dry, not watery, and highly fluid.
8. Place a piece of oil paper on the baking sheet, pour the flour batter into it and spread it evenly.
9. Sprinkle a layer of white sesame seeds on top.
10. Preheat the oven first, then 165 degrees Celsius, 30 minutes, high and low heat. Because twice the amount is used, it is thicker and takes longer. You can control the time by yourself. You can use toothpicks when baking. Poke it to see if it's done. If it's not sticky, it's ready.
11. You can see that the volume is gradually increasing in the middle, so don’t pour the batter too full. Generally, it doesn’t matter if it is half the height of the baking pan or less.
12. The baked look.
13. Take it out after cooling. Because there is oil paper pad underneath, it comes out as soon as you lift it. You can cut it with a knife.
14. Red date cake would be good.
