There are two theories about the origin of pizza:
Rome
According to the third century B.C., the history of Rome states: round wheat cake + olive oil + spices + baked on a stone. This is the original pizza.
China
When the famous Italian traveler Marco Polo traveled in China, he liked to eat a kind of northern popular scallion oil pie. When he returned to Italy he always wanted to be able to taste it again, but couldn't bake it. One Sunday, when he and his friends were gathering at his home, Marco Polo called one of the chefs from Naples to his side to describe the northern Chinese scallion pie. The chef made it the way Marco Polo had depicted. But after half a day's work, he was still unable to put the filling into the dough. Marco Polo suggested that the filling be eaten on top of the pie. The chef returned to Naples and served the pie with local cheese and toppings, and it was such a hit that the word "pizza" spread.
According to statistics, there are more than 20,000 pizzerias in Italy, including 1,200 in Naples. Most Neapolitans eat at least one pizza a week, and some eat it almost every day for lunch and dinner. It is customary for both rich and poor diners to fold their pizzas and hold them in their hands. This is one of the criteria for determining the quality of a pizza's handiwork. The pizza must be soft and firm, so that even if it is folded up like a wallet, the outer layer will not break.
Pizza, also known as pizzas, pizzas, pizzas, and pizzas, is a food product that originated in Italy and is popular around the world. Pizza is usually made from fermented rounds of dough covered with tomato sauce, cheese, and other toppings and baked in an oven.
The cheese is usually mozzarella, but there are also blends of several cheeses, including parmesan, romano, ricotta, or Monterey Jack.
