Yuanxiao can be preserved by freezing. The purchased frozen Yuanxiao can be frozen, and should be sealed and refrigerated at-18℃ for no more than three months. You don't need to thaw it before eating, just cook it with boiling water. If you make homemade Yuanxiao, don't make too many at once, and eat it as soon as possible after you finish it. If you can't eat it all at once, you can put it in the refrigerator for frozen storage, but it can't be frozen for too long.
