Zhuanxu refers to a middle-aged aristocrat, and by extension, a decent, law-abiding person, and by extension, a social elite.
Zhuan Xu was also the head of the ancient tribal confederation, and was honored by later generations as an "emperor" and included in the "Five Emperors". According to the Records of the Grand Historian, Zhuan Xu is the grandson of the Yellow Emperor and the son of Chang Yi. Zhuan Xu was awarded the title of Zhuan Xu in Gao Yang for his service to Shao Hao. After the death of Shao Hao, the ****workers fought with Zhuan Xu for the throne, and Zhuan Xu defeated the ****workers and succeeded Shao Hao as the ruler, with the name "Gao Yang Clan". In the myths and legends that have been passed down, Zhuan Xu is the heavenly emperor in charge of the north.
