Why is chocolate so high in calories and fat?
Fat is directly proportional to calories. Chocolate has a very high fat content. The calorie of 1 g fat is 9 calories, while that of 1 g sugar or protein is only 4 calories, which is more than twice as high as that of the same weight of fat. Moreover, if the body can't consume fat directly, the fat of chocolate can easily be directly converted into body fat and stored.
