Huangshan Mountain, called Yishan in ancient times, is located in the south of Anhui Province and the north of Huangshan City. It spans Shexian, Xiuning, yi county, huangshan district and Huizhou. It starts from Huang Shiling in the east, reaches Xiaolingjiao in the west, starts from Erlong Bridge in the north and reaches Tangkou Town in the south, crossing east longitude 1 180 1.
Huangshan Mountain has a geological history of 800 million years, integrating peak forest landforms and glacial remains, and has typical geological landscapes such as granite mold stones, granite caves and Quantanxi Waterfalls. The joints of Qianshan rock mass are sparse, multi-spherical and weathered, and the mountain is magnificent; Houshan rock mass is characterized by dense joints, multi-column weathering and steep mountain, which has formed the landform characteristics of "majestic front mountain and beautiful back mountain". Before the formation of its peak forest structure, Huangshan experienced orogeny, crustal uplift, glaciers and natural weathering.
The main attractions of Huangshan Mountain
1, rock
There are many dangerous peaks and steep cliffs in Huangshan Mountain, and the feet of the peaks fall straight to the bottom. Granite stone forests and stone pillars are widely distributed in hilltops, mountainsides and valleys, among which there are more than 120 famous places, where squirrels jump into the sky and monkeys look at the peace (monkeys look at the sea).
2, the sea of clouds
Huang Shanyun has been an ocean since ancient times. Huangshan is a land of clouds, with peaks as the body and clouds as the clothes. Its magnificent "sea of clouds" is famous for its beauty, victory, strangeness and illusion, especially in Chu Qing after rain and snow. "Going to the sea" at sunrise or sunset is more spectacular. Strange rocks, strange pines and peak forests float in the sea of clouds, and you can feel the realm of "the sky is the shore at the end of the sea, and I am the peak at the top of the mountain". According to the distribution of sea of clouds, the whole mountain includes East China Sea, South China Sea, West Sea, North Sea and Tianhai.
3. Tiandu Peak
Tiandu Peak is located in the southeast of Huangshan Mountain, with Lotus Peak in the west and Bowl Peak in the east, about 1 km away from Yuping Peak. Tiandu Peak is one of the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain and one of the 36 peaks, with an altitude of 18 10 meter. In ancient times, it was called "the capital of all immortals", which means the city in the sky, hence the name "Tiandufeng". This peak, Lotus Peak and Guangmingding are also called the three main peaks of Huangshan Mountain.
