In Easter, parents should specially prepare chocolate candy in the shape of eggs and rabbits for their children. Friends and relatives should exchange eggs. In some European countries, if a girl presents three red eggs to a young man on Easter Day, it means that the girl is courting the young man.
3. Rabbits are messengers who send Easter eggs to children. There is a saying that Easter eggs are laid by rabbits. According to legend, the goddess of spring once saved a bird that was frostbitten in winter and turned it into a rabbit. As it used to be a bird, it still retains the ability to lay eggs. It became the Easter Bunny.
4. Significance of Easter Festival
(1) On Easter Sunday, there was no special retreat, because the vigil on the eve usually extended to the early morning of Sunday. Attend this Sunday daytime retreat. This can be regarded as a continuation celebration of Jesus' resurrection. In order to consider taking part in the Mass, many parishioners have not attended the ceremony on the eve of resurrection. Therefore, when preaching, we should mention the importance of the vigil on the eve, especially explain the Easter candle placed next to the altar, so that the parishioners can understand the range of exceeding the Olympic miracle and its unity.
(2) Mass scripture expresses the wonder and joy of the church over the resurrection of Jesus. First of all, the chanting in the church announced the good news of Jesus' resurrection: "The Lord has really risen, Alleluia." Today, the prayers, offerings, communion, and tributes recited by the main priests all emphasize the relationship between transcending the sacred relics and our lives.
