Snapper is a kind of marine fish. The snapper usually lives in the ocean with a depth of 30-200 meters, and likes warmer water, so it is generally distributed in the lower latitudes. In China, Qingdao, Longkou, Yantai and Qinhuangdao are their main producing areas. They have adapted to the high salinity and osmotic pressure of seawater, but can't adapt to the environment of fresh water, so they can't live in fresh water for a long time.
The snapper belongs to the genus Sparidae, also known as Cargill, Bangaji, Cargill, Cedar and so on. The snapper is tall and flat, with a body length of more than 50 cm, silver red with light blue spots, green and black behind the caudal fin, small head and mouth, conical front of upper and lower teeth, molars at the back, comb-shaped body, and hard spines on the dorsal fin and gluteal fin.
