Indians eat with their hands.
The traditional way of eating Indian food is to put food directly into your mouth with your right hand, without any utensils.
They will wash their hands before meals. If the staple food is rice, then they will use the thumb, index finger and first knuckle of the middle finger of their right hand to form a small spoon shape, pick up some rice and ladle out some soup. The juice is delivered to the mouth. If it is a pancake, tear it into small pieces and fold it into small packets, then dip it in soup or eat it with side dishes. If you are skilled in the technique, the soup will not be dripping all over your hands when you eat it.
