Zipengshan National Forest Park

Guanting Forest Sea

Mingchuan Hometown

Beautiful mountains and clear waters with outstanding people

Mingchuan Hometown Scenic Spot is located in Mingchuan Township, Feixi County. The scope of the scenic spot mainly includes Liu Mingchuan, a national cultural relic protection unit and a cross-strait exchange base. /Liu Mingchuan Memorial Hall/

Liu Mingchuan Memorial Hall is located in Qiming Community, Mingchuan Township, Feixi County, covering an area of ??31 acres, with 3 floors and a construction area of ??approximately 6,225 square meters. The memorial hall is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with the Hongqi Reservoir in the northeast and the Jinhe River in front of the museum flowing through the Liu Mingchuan Former Residence Memorial Hall in the northwest corner. It is backed by mountains in the south, and the first and second floors are half-embedded in the mountains according to the hills. The overall construction of the memorial hall is an architectural form that conforms to the characteristics of the ecosystem and mountains. It draws in mountains and rivers, echoes the surrounding environment, and achieves an artistic conception in which the building and the landscape space complement each other. The memorial hall can be divided into 8 parts: the prologue hall, young heroes, famous generals of the Huai Army, rural residence and idleness, resisting the law and protecting Taiwan, building Taiwan, later years and Zepi cross-strait affairs, showing Liu Mingchuan's life and deeds in different periods.

/Liu Mingchuan Cemetery/

Liu Mingchuan was a famous patriotic general in the late Qing Dynasty and the leader of Taiwan Appointed as governor. His ashes were never buried due to various reasons, but were placed in the homes of his descendants. On October 23, 2008, the construction project of Liu Mingchuan Cemetery was officially launched in the north of Daqianshan in Gezilong Village, Mingchuan Township, Feixi County, Anhui Province. The height of the cemetery is 146 meters, and its shape looks a bit like Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing. On April 12, 2011, Liu Mingchuan's remains were officially buried in his hometown, Daqianshan, Feixi County, Hefei City, Anhui Province. The overall layout of Liu Mingchuan Cemetery was built in accordance with the tomb specifications for first-class officials in the Qing Dynasty official tomb system. It covers a total area of ??3.34 hectares and has a vertical height difference of 146 meters. It is equipped with wall photos, three province bridges, a gate, a Shinto, an archway, a stele pavilion, Huabiao, stone statues, Xiangtang, sacrificial square, etc., the tomb chamber is located in the middle of the sacrificial square. Liu Mingchuan Cemetery was jointly selected by government departments, cultural and historical experts, and descendants of the Liu family. It is located in the north of Daqian Mountain. It is built according to the natural mountain topography, facing the water and the mountains, and has a very beautiful environment.
