The Historical Prototype of Yao Zi-tiao, a Shang Shi.

The historical prototype of Yao Ziling is Empress Sun.

Shangshi tells the story between Zhu Zhanji, the grandson of the overbearing emperor, and Yao Ziling, a chef with high intelligence. The historical background of this play is the Ming Dynasty, and it is reported that the historical prototype of Yao Zilian is Queen Sun. In the plot, we are talking about the traditional cuisine of China culture and promoting Chinese cuisine. Everyone must be looking forward to this script. It mainly tells the story between Prince Zhu Zhanji and Chef Yao Ziling in the Ming Dynasty.

Sun Shi, the historical empress of filial piety (1399 -1462), was born in zouping county (now Zouping City, Shandong Province), the second empress of Zhu Zhanji, the mother of Zhu Qizhen, Ming Yingzong, and the daughter of Sun Zhong, the principal bookkeeper of Yongcheng County.

Empress Sun and Zhu Zhanji, Emperor Xuanzong of Ming Dynasty, live together day and night and have deep feelings. After Emperor Xuanzong ascended the throne, Sun Shi was conferred the title of Imperial concubine. In the third year of Xuande (1428), Emperor Xuanzong of Ming Dynasty abolished Hu Huanghou and made Sun Guifei the queen. Xuande ten years (1435), Ming Xuanzong died, Zhu Qizhen succeeded to the throne as emperor, and Empress Sun was honored as the Empress Dowager. In the fourteenth year of orthodoxy (1449), Ming Yingzong Zhu Qizhen was captured by Wala. Empress Sun adopted the opinions of the hawk faction such as Yu Qian, assistant minister of the Ministry of War, and let Zhu Qiyu acceded to the throne for Jingtai Emperor, thus resolving the crisis.

Sun Shi, the filial piety queen of Ming Xuanzong, was born in Zouping, Shandong. Queen Sun was quite beautiful when she was a teenager. Her father, Sun Zhong, is the master book of Yongcheng County. Mrs. Peng Chengbo, the mother of Empress Zhang of Emperor Renzong of Ming Dynasty, is also from Yongcheng. She always goes in and out of the court, saying that Sun Zhong's daughter is very virtuous, so Empress Sun was able to enter the palace.

In the early Ming Dynasty, there were "civil changes" and "changes to seize the door" that shocked the ruling and opposition parties. With rich political experience and irreplaceable respect of the empress dowager, Queen Sun managed the two changes and played a role in maintaining the rule of the Ming Dynasty and national stability. In August of the 14th year of orthodoxy (1449), 5, elite soldiers of the Ming Dynasty and important officials from various ministries in the DPRK were surrounded by Wala cavalry in Tumbao, and the young emperor Zhu Qizhen, who led the army to personally expedition, was captured and held hostage to continue to attack the northern towns of the Ming Dynasty. The capital was in a hurry and the Ming Dynasty was in an unprecedented crisis.

After a short period of chaos, Empress Sun resolutely abandoned some courtiers' idea of fleeing to the south, adopted the opinions of the main war school such as Yu Qian, assistant minister of the Ministry of War, and successively adopted a series of correct decisions, such as letting Zhu Qiyu, the younger brother of the emperor, ascend to the throne for Jingtai Emperor, honoring Zhu Qizhen as the emperor's father, making Zhu Jianshen, the son of Zhu Qizhen, a prince, and actively dispatching troops to stick to Beijing, and finally resolved the crisis. After repelling the Wala attack, Jingtai Emperor fell in love with the throne, imprisoned Zhu Qizhen, the emperor's father who was sent back to Beijing, abolished Zhu Jianshen, the prince established by Empress Sun, and changed his son to be the prince. As the "Empress Dowager Saint", Empress Sun left Jingtai Emperor to abolish the Prince, carefully protected the imprisoned Emperor Zhu Qizhen and the abandoned little Prince Zhu Jianshen, maintained the overall political stability of the Ming Dynasty, and waited and saw the changes of the times. Emperor Jingtai's life was ill-fated. His son and his wife, Queen Hang, died one after another, and there were no more children.

In the first month of the eighth year of Jingtai (1457), at the critical moment when Emperor Jingtai was seriously ill and insisted on refusing the courtiers' proposal to re-establish the crown prince, and the Ming Dynasty throne was facing a crisis of inheritance, Empress Sun explicitly supported some courtiers to carry out the "change of seizing the door" and supported the restoration of Emperor Zhu Qizhen, the head of the royal family, thus eliminating another political crisis in the Ming Dynasty.

In the Ming History, "Shi Heng tried to seize the door, kept it secret from the Empress Dowager, and allowed it", which fully explained the role of Empress Sun.
