Batang County is 2,560 meters above sea level.

Batang County is located in the west of Garze Prefecture and belongs to the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province. It is about 260 kilometers long from north to south and 45 kilometers wide from east to west.

It borders Xiangcheng and Litang County in the east, Derong County in the south, Mangkang, Yanjing, Gongjue County in Tibet and Deqin County in Yunnan Province across the Jinsha River in the west, and Baiyu County in the north. It has an alpine plateau climate.

The Cuopugou Scenic Area consists of cultural landscapes such as Huashan Mountain, snow-capped mountains, lakes, forests, rivers, canyons, waterfalls, hot springs, grasslands, wild animals and temples.

It is surrounded by mountains on all sides, close to the Zhajintian Boshen Mountain with rugged cliffs, exposed mountains and unique mountain shapes. In front of it is Nitagangri Peak, and is surrounded by dense virgin forests and green grass slopes.

When eating tsampa in Ganzi delicacies, butter tea and tsampa noodles are usually mixed together. If possible, sugar and milk residue can be added, which can add deliciousness and increase appetite.

When the Han people eat tsampa, if butter tea is not available, they can use lard oil or cooked clear oil instead, add boiling water and sugar, stir and eat.

Kangding's cattle are not only edible, but also very useful.

The Kangding yak has a strong body, thick and long coat, short tail hair like a horse's tail, dense and long hair on the abdomen and lower part of the trunk, shaped like an apron, so it can lie on the snow without being cold.

The bottom of the hoof has a hard, shoe-like raised edge, so it can walk freely on rugged mountain roads.
