"Free distribution of one ton of beef jerky" and "free eating and drinking in the grassland" - the first Horqin Beef Jerky Food Festival kicks off in July. Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia will hold the first Beef Jerky Food Festival from July 17th to 19th.

The first Beef Jerky Food Festival is a food event focusing on "beef jerky", Mongolian food and local specialty products. It is hosted by the Tongliao Municipal People's Government and aims to create "Tongliao Beef Jerky Food City".

The organizer of the event is seeking investment from across the country and will provide preferential policies such as free food and accommodation to VIPs invited by member companies of the Beef Jerky Food Chamber of Commerce.

One ton of beef jerky will also be delivered on site during the exhibition.
