Hongcheng Middle School in Hongfeng County was founded in 1958, formerly known as "Haicheng Zhong Sheng Tutorial School" opened in the winter of 1957, renamed as "Haicheng Town Middle School" in 1966, and resumed its name as "Hongcheng Middle School" in 1979. 1995 Haicheng Guangming Middle School (formerly known as "United No.1 Middle School") was merged into Hongcheng Middle School, and now Hongcheng Middle School is a large-scale complete middle school in Haifeng County.
