Two: Surrounding Tours

There are many attractions. Let’s list a few that our students often go to

1. Zhongshan Bridge

This is a landmark of Lanzhou with a history of more than 100 years. Designed by Americans and built by Germans, it took three years to complete and cost more than 36,000 taels of silver. It is known as the "No. 1 Yellow River Bridge in the World". The Zhongshan Bridge is engraved with the historical changes of Lanzhou through the ages and shows the brilliant art of Lanzhou people. Its ornamental and commemorative value is more meaningful than its transportation function.

2. Wuquan Mountain

There are some small temples on the mountain with good scenery. There are many flowers in spring, and there are some ancient windows that are suitable for checking in. It feels great to look out into the distance on the top of the mountain. There are also some entertainment facilities at the bottom of the mountain. You can play bumper cars with your friends and relive your childhood.

3. Baitashan Park

This is right next to Zhongshan Bridge. It is the best place to watch the Yellow River. There are ancient buildings from the Yuan and Ming Dynasties everywhere. You can have a panoramic view of this northwest city by climbing a mountain and leaning on the railing. Don’t miss it!

In addition, there are Wanda Center and Guofang Department Store around the school, which also have many delicious foods, such as Haidilao, roast duck, rice stir-fries, various snacks, etc. The recently renovated commercial plaza on the G floor of Guofang is also quite nice. Guofang Department Store is located at Dongfanghong Plaza, which is very close to Lanzhou University, and Guofang is right next to the subway entrance, which is very convenient. Others are also welcome to add.
