According to Baidu map query, the observatory is located near the top of the cliff at the entrance of No.4 Xiyongtan, Xiyong Community, Longgang District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. It is also called Xiyong Observatory.
Xiyong Observatory was completed on 20 10. It is a comprehensive observation base integrating astronomical observation, meteorological observation, ocean observation, academic research and popular science education. It is also the first comprehensive observation system combining astronomy and meteorology, popular science and commerce, field observation and network observation in China.
