Linqiong Ancient City, one of the four ancient cities in Bashu, is the first city of the ancient southern Silk Road in Chengdu, and the first batch of historical and cultural cities named in Sichuan Province. Founded in the 14th year of King Gengyuan of Qin Huiwen (311 BC), it has a history of more than 2,3 years so far. It is the hometown of Zhuo Wenjun, a talented woman in the Western Han Dynasty, and is known as "Linqiong has been known as a prosperous place since ancient times, and Tianfu comes to the first state in the south". As the first important town of the Southern Silk Road going out of Chengdu in the west, Sichuan is the key to Yunnan and Tibet. Since ancient times, it has been known as "wine town", "tea town", "Tao Dou" and "silk city".
