First, the undergraduate application conditions
The entry requirements for undergraduate courses in USM departments are the same as those of other universities in Malaysia. Applicants need to graduate from high school (provide domestic test scores) or above, and the specific entry requirements depend on different courses. Language requires IELTS 5, 5 or above. In addition, applicants need to apply for the College English Test. The whole language course is divided into five levels, lasting for one year, and the tuition fee for each level is 3200RM. Intensive English is divided into four months: 1, 4, 7 and 10.
Second, the postgraduate application conditions
Master: The language requirement is IELTS 6. Applicants must hold an undergraduate diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education, preferably 2 1 1, and relevant work experience and professional background.
Doctor: The language requirement is IELTS 6, and the applicant must have a master's degree. However, there are also special circumstances, such as holding a bachelor's degree with excellent academic performance, and applying for a doctorate with the permission of the Senate of USM University.
International students applying for USM must have a certain level of English and be able to use English flexibly. USM will provide students with English exams and corresponding English cram schools. If the applicant's English score is not up to standard, he can't apply for a degree course in USM.
Reminder: The admission of USM English course has nothing to do with the admission of this master's course. After graduating from English course, there is no guarantee that the applicant will be admitted to USM related majors. The start date of USM specialized courses is divided into September and 1 month.
