Tingzhou is located in Changting County, Longyan, Fujian Province.

Changting County, referred to as "Ting", belongs to Fujian Province.

It is the seat of Tingzhou City in the Soviet Area, and the red flag leaps over the Tingjiang River.

It is located in the west of Fujian Province, at the southern foot of Wuyi Mountain, bordering Guangdong to the south and Jiangxi to the west.

It has been the borderland of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces since ancient times, and is known as the "Western Gate of Fujian Province".

Li Ting was called Tingzhou in ancient times and was established as a county in the Han Dynasty.

Since Tingzhou was established as a state in the 24th year of Kaiyuan of the Tang Dynasty, it has become one of the five major states, seven prefectures, and eight states in Fujian.

Changting, also known as Tingzhou Prefecture, is the first government-run city where Hakka people live together, and is known as the "Hakka Capital of the World".

It enjoys titles such as "Fujian Famous Food City", "Hometown of the Red Army", and "Red Little Shanghai".

Natural resources Changting’s main mineral resources: metallic minerals include rare earths, tungsten, iron, tin, gold, silver, etc., of which the rare earth reserves rank first in the province; non-metallic minerals include limestone, dolomite, marble, diabase, and basalt

The county can develop 100,000 kilowatts of water resources. As of 2008, 42,000 kilowatts have been developed, indicating great potential for water resource development.

The territory is rich in groundwater resources and geothermal resources. Hetian Hot Spring is rare in China, with a temperature as high as 80°C and a daily flow of more than 4,000 tons.
