Under what circumstances did you learn to cook?

I learned to cook when the food cooked by people around me was not delicious.

a few years ago, when I was looking for a job, I always ate the company canteen, because I lived in a dormitory at that time, so this was acceptable. Until later, I rented it out, because I was lazy, and my neighbor's colleagues said that they could cook, so I paid for the food and planned to eat.

However, after eating a few meals, I found that my colleagues said that they could cook, only cooked raw ingredients, and had no cooking skills at all, let alone reasonable side dishes. At that time, every green vegetable she cooked was boiled, and then she poured soy sauce on it. Every time she cooked ribs, she put water in it and boiled them for an hour. Then she put chopped green onion in it. Every fish she cooked was steamed, and every egg was boiled in water. I couldn't stand it. I might as well eat in the cafeteria.

So I followed some side dishes, steps and seasoning methods cooked by my father at home, and made a meal praised by my colleagues. Although the knife was not very good, at least the taste left them several streets. So slowly they gave me the job of cooking, and I was willing to cook and eat every day in order not to wash the dishes. I have done a lot later, plus my own genetic talent and I can't. I can also call my father and brother to teach me remotely, and gradually become a master in the eyes of others.

As my brother said, cooking is a process of learning to side dishes. As long as you know how to mix them, a kitchen idiot can learn to cook in a short time. I belong to the crowd with more dishes, so when other people's dishes don't suit their own tastes, I learned to cook conveniently.
