Yaowan Ancient Town is located in the southwest of Xinyi City, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, at the intersection of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and Luoma Lake.
The history of the ancient town dates back to the Spring and Autumn Period and has a history of more than 1,300 years.
The ancient town is adjacent to the Grand Canal to the west, Luoma Lake to the east, and surrounded by water on three sides. It is a north-south water transport hub and an important commodity distribution center.
