Kelan Mountain is located at the junction of kelan county, ningwu county and Wuzhai County. It is the highest point in kelan county and located at the southeast end of kelan county. In the eastern mountainous area, Heyeping, the main peak of Kelan Mountain, is the highest, with an altitude of 2783 meters. There are dense forests and good vegetation on the mountain. Moreover, there is an adult cave Luya Mountain near here, which makes it a place where tourists are woven.

There are three treasures on the Kelan Mountain, and the big leather pants with oat flour and yam vividly illustrate the agricultural features and climate characteristics in this area, and also create the living habits of local farmers.

Big fur coat:

Kelan Mountain is located in the northwest of Shanxi, which is connected to Shaanxi in the west. It is a wind outlet in Shanxi. It has winds all the year round and blows to Yuanping and Xinfu in the southeast. When we travel here, there will be nothing different from the local place when we get off the bus, but when we head for the mountains, I feel the breeze blowing on my face, which is extremely refreshing. Therefore, people feel that it is also a summer resort like Wutai Mountain.

If you stay here for the night, you will find that the quilts here are all thick cotton quilts. Some people think that it is so old that you are reluctant to cover it with a down quilt. In fact, when you sleep until midnight, even if you close the doors and windows, you will feel a little cold. The cold is straight through the bone marrow, and you will feel that these cotton pants are really needed. When I get up in the morning, I walk out of the room and enter the courtyard, and the fresh air blows on my face. I will feel a refreshing moment, but I will feel a little chill on my face after standing for a while, which is really not felt in other areas.

if we are in the spring and autumn, we will still appreciate the snow on the top of the mountain, just imagine how cold it will be. The unique climate makes local people wear as much and as thick as possible. Even in summer, local people are used to wearing a jacket. In the spring and autumn, their clothes are thickened early. In winter, the sheep herders of that year will put on sheepskin jackets early, which is their best clothes to resist the cold. Until now, the old man still likes to wear sheepskin fur coat in winter, which is really warm, but it is too heavy. And people here wear curly fur jackets because it was originally the origin of cashmere goats.

Yam:

This yam is not the other yam, but actually a potato, a potato. The climate change in Kelan Mountain is too great, the temperature difference between the mountains and the mountains is large, and the soil here is sandy, so planting potatoes has become the best agricultural project. Moreover, the potatoes here are well-known, with clean skin, sand and cotton, and the potatoes here are unique in the whole Shanxi border.

The main food of the local people is potatoes, so a potato feast is formed. Only what you can't think of is impossible for the local people. Every autumn, ordinary people take potatoes home, sort them out, put the big ones into the kiln, and prepare the small ones to be ground into potato vermicelli. Every morning at home, potatoes, or potato chips, or whole potatoes will be steamed in a large pot, and small rice will be boiled in the bottom of the pot, and some potatoes will be cooked, so farmhouse meals are formed.

oat noodle:

where there are many mountains, there will be more small miscellaneous grains. It's not that ordinary people are willing to plant these, because the land here is really not too big, so we can only order a little here, sprinkle a little seeds there, and then sprinkle seeds such as flax, naked oats, beans, yellow mustard, etc. as much as we can grow. What people didn't expect was that the naked oats and beans here were of quite good quality.

oat flour is made of naked oats. The farmers here thought it was relatively poor in those days. They knew how to eat white flour, but they couldn't grow it here. Although these oat flour are coarse grains, they can ensure that their stomachs won't be empty all at once, and there are many tricks for ordinary people to make oat flour, such as oat flour nests and oat flour fish.

times have changed, but I didn't expect that oat noodles have become a delicious food that everyone is vying for.

Of course, people's living conditions are better now, and the new three treasures have come out, but the food and aquaculture produced under this climate condition have continued to this day, and it is worth our experience.
