3. Nanning International Folk Song Art Festival

The predecessor of Nanning International Folk Song Art Festival was the Guangxi International Folk Song Festival, which was founded in 1993. It was officially renamed in 1999. It was jointly sponsored by the Social and Cultural Library Department of the Ministry of Culture, the Cultural Publicity Department of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Nanning Municipal People's Government. It is a comprehensive large-scale festival integrating culture, tourism and economy.

The art festival is held once a year, and the venue is set in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Since 24, Nanning International Folk Song Art Festival has successfully opened a new chapter of cultural cooperation between China and ASEAN in the practice of serving the 9th China-ASEAN Expo, and has also become an important platform for cultural exchanges between Guangxi and other parts of the country and the world.
