Can I use egg whites instead of cream for homemade ice cream?

It can’t be done this way

I have the Haagen-Dazs recipe

It’s very simple. You need to prepare 4 eggs (only the yolks) and two bags Pure milk, two ounces of white sugar

1 Put the sugar and egg yolks together and beat them with a whisk until they become milky white, like this. Of course, you can also use chopsticks without a whisk, but it will be very tiring, haha.

2 Pour the milk into the pot and cook until it slightly boils

3 Slowly pour the boiled milk into the beaten egg liquid with a spoon, stirring while pouring . (Be careful not to pour all the milk into the egg liquid at once, otherwise the eggs will be cooked by the milk and clump together)

4 Pour the stirred egg milk liquid back into the pot and cook. Bring to a slight boil, turn off the heat, pour into a container and let cool

5 Put the cooled egg milk into the refrigerator. It is best to stir it every two hours so that there will be no ice. If you have cream at home, you can cut it into about 1CM and stir it into the egg liquid, which will make the flavor more fragrant.

I usually make it the night before, then put it in the refrigerator overnight and eat it the next day. Of course, you can also add your favorite jam or fruit. Now you can use your imagination to create your own unique flavor of ice cream.

How about it, it looks pretty good, so let’s give it a try. It brings a bit of coolness to the family in the hot summer. It is delicious and healthy, and both adults and children can eat it with confidence.
